# Bahrain Surf Park, Club Hawaii Experience (منتزه البحرين لركوب الأمواج)

Beaches & Water · Bilaj Al Jazayer · South Bahrain

Bahrain Surf Park is the region's first Wavegarden Cove surf pool, under construction at Bilaj Al Jazayer, with opening announced for 2026 but no date set.

Bahrain Surf Park, branded Club Hawaii Experience, is being built by Edamah with GFH Financial Group inside the Bilaj Al Jazayer project on the south-west coast. The park covers more than 52,000 square metres and broke ground in 2025. It uses Wavegarden Cove technology, which can generate up to 1,000 waves an hour for up to 90 surfers. Waves will range from 0.5 m for beginners to 1.8 m for experienced surfers.

Plans on the official site include surf lessons for all levels, ladies-only and kids' sessions, a shallow play bay with gentle waves and a splash pad suitable for non-swimmers and children from six, a supervised Keiki Zone for ages 3 to 12, cabanas, a surf store and restaurants.

Opening has been announced for 2026, but in October 2026 the website's booking buttons still led to a coming soon page and no opening date had been published. Pricing had not been published either. Bilaj Al Jazayer public beach, next to the site, has been closed for works since April 2026. Sign up on the official website for opening news before planning a trip.
