The Bahrain International Airshow is a biennial aerospace show at Sakhir Air Base, and its eighth edition has been moved from November 2026 to November 2028.

The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is a trade and public aerospace event held every two years at Sakhir Air Base in the south of the island. The first edition took place in 2010. It brings together aircraft makers, airlines, defence delegations and flying displays, and is organised with Farnborough International.

The eighth edition was planned for 18 to 20 November 2026. On 7 September 2026 the supreme organising committee confirmed it would instead run from 15 to 17 November 2028. The official statement said the change would allow broader international participation. Some press reports linked the delay to the conflict in the region, but the organisers did not say so.

Because the show is held every other year, the change means there is no airshow in Bahrain in 2026. Anyone who booked flights or hotels for November 2026 should review those plans, as no replacement dates have been set for this year.
