# Drag and Drift Nights at BIC (ليالي التسارع والانجراف في حلبة البحرين الدولية)

On selected Monday evenings, Bahrain International Circuit opens its quarter-mile drag strip and drift area to anyone with a road car or motorbike that passes scrutineering.

The Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights let members of the public run their own cars and motorbikes at Bahrain International Circuit. You can race down the quarter-mile drag strip, which is part of the US-based NHRA Worldwide Network, slide around the vehicle dynamics area set up for drifting, or do both on the same night.

The 2026 to 2027 season runs on Monday evenings from 6pm to 11pm. Dates published by BIC include 26 October, 9, 23 and 30 November and 28 December 2026, then 4, 18 and 25 January, 8 February and 22 March 2027.

Every car or bike is checked by scrutineers before it goes out. Drivers and riders must wear a helmet, and loose clothing and open-toed shoes are not allowed. Helmets and suits can be rented on site. Friends can join as passengers or spectators for a fee.

BIC also runs related nights through the season, including the Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night, which starts runs from a rolling speed, and Burnout Nights. For a taste without your own car, the Dragster Experience puts you in the passenger seat of a dragster, from age 16.
