Azure Beach Club Bahrain

About Azure Beach Club Bahrain

Edamah, the real estate arm of Mumtalakat, signed with Sunset Hospitality Group at Gateway Gulf 2024 to operate the beach club at Bilaj Al Jazayer. It will be Bahrain's first Azure Beach, a brand that already runs in Dubai, Marbella, Doha and Beirut.

As in Dubai, the club will be paired with Ammos, a Greek restaurant whose name means sand in Greek and which serves Greek island food. The beachfront concept will include pool and beach lounging, dining and sunset sessions. The club was announced for the second quarter of 2026. That date has passed, and the neighbouring public beach closed for works on 13 April 2026. No opening had been confirmed as of October 2026.

Once open it will suit adults and groups looking for a day club on the south-west coast. Watch Sunset Hospitality Group's and Edamah's channels for news. The wider Bilaj Al Jazayer masterplan, which covers about 1.6 million square metres, also includes the planned Bahrain Surf Park and the upgraded public beach.
