André Rieu and His Johann Strauss Orchestra

About André Rieu and His Johann Strauss Orchestra

Dutch violinist and conductor André Rieu brings his Johann Strauss Orchestra back to Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, the open-air venue next to Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, on Friday 19 March 2027. The concert falls in the same week as the Formula 1 season opener in Bahrain.

Rieu played the amphitheatre in 2023, 2024 and 2025, including a 2025 date as part of the Spring of Culture festival. A planned 2026 concert did not go ahead because of the regional situation, and the show was moved to March 2027.

His concerts mix waltzes, classical favourites, film music and popular songs performed by his large touring orchestra. The evening suits classical music fans, couples and families, and the desert setting of the amphitheatre adds to the occasion. Tickets for the 2027 date are already listed on Platinumlist.
