F1 Pre-Season Testing 2027
Formula 1 teams run their 2027 cars for four days at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir from 24 to 27 February 2027.
About F1 Pre-Season Testing 2027
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir hosts Formula 1's official pre-season test from 24 to 27 February 2027. It is the only test confirmed alongside the 2027 calendar announced by F1 and the FIA, and it gives every team its first chance to run the new season's car on track before racing starts.

Testing is the first part of a busy run for the circuit. Two weeks later, BIC hosts the 2027 season opener, the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on 12 to 14 March, which will also be Bahrain's first F1 Sprint weekend. 2027 is the second season under the current technical regulations.

Test days are quieter than a race weekend, with long runs, set-up work and practice starts rather than competitive sessions. They suit fans who want to see the cars and drivers up close at a calmer pace, and anyone in Bahrain who cannot make the Grand Prix itself. BIC has said ticketing details for testing will be announced later.
