Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship 2027

About Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship 2027

The Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship is Bahrain's DP World Tour golf event, played at Royal Golf Club in Riffa. The 2027 edition, the fourth, runs from 28 to 31 January 2027 as part of the tour's International Swing, one of six DP World Tour events in the GCC in 2027.

In the Gulf schedule it falls between the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and the Qatar Masters, which follows from 3 to 6 February. Royal Golf Club is confirmed as host for the 2027 and 2028 editions, and a separate agreement keeps the event on the tour calendar until at least 2036.

Past winners are Dylan Frittelli in 2024, Laurie Canter in 2025 and Germany's Freddy Schott, who won in 2026 and returns as defending champion. In 2025 and 2026 general admission was free with a ticket booked through Platinumlist, with paid hospitality upgrades. Terms for 2027 had not been announced at the time of writing.
